Effects Controls: Wire to Sound
You can set effects to change dynamically based on sound input levels.

The sound input comes from a soundtrack or sound file attached to live video. If there is more than one soundtrack, Videator will use the first track. If there is no soundtrack or sound file, Videator will use the sound input from the sound input source set in your computer’s system preferences.

The sound input can affect numeric and color values used by an effect.

To change an effect based on sound input levels:
1.        Select the effect that you want to modify.
2.        Choose Effects->Wire to Sound...
3.        Select the values that you want to vary based on sound in the Wire Effect to Sound dialog.
4.        If you want a more subtle effect, use the Clamp Range control to limit the range of values set by the sound input.
5.        If you want softer sound input to result in high values for the effect inputs, check the Invert checkbox.
6.        Click the OK button.
